Hi guys, I'm trying to update/upgrade my forums from SMF 2.0 RC4 and whenever I try via packages, I get this error.
Package upload failed due to the following error:
"Although the package was downloaded to the server it appears to be empty".
Any help appreciated, I've not been using my forums for months due to this error to the point I'm considering closing them down.
I need to upgrade as a number of features just don't work, and I also can't edit nor uninstall some mods, no matter what I do, they just stay the same.
For example, I have Simple Portal, and I need to edit some of the articles, yet if I go into the manager, it says I have none, even though I can clearly see them, so the install is clearly corrupted.
This has been driving me mad for months now.
I also wanted to move from one host to another, can't work out how to do it, and now I've been paying for two lots of hosting for what's going to be the fourth month now. Next step is just to shut down the lot and give up alltogether
