Here is a mod I downloaded today that creates Alternative_Quotes for SMF 2.0 RC3.

I plan to use it for my site.   

It was a pain to download since I do not know Russian so I am sharing it here...

It may be buggy since it was not approved but it is the mod discussed here.

Screenshots. I had one installed here from the russian SM to a long time ago. It looked good but was never updated. I wonder if this is the same one.
