Moving Forum - Kinda

Ok - deeeeeeeep breath ok ok

I don't have a choice right now but to start with a free host and have been using just a sub domain. But the email function has been curtailed with the free accounts even with google apps. So for now, i registered and setup a free co.cc domain and have added the domain to my free account.

Now this domain sits in the same root as my subdomain like this - subdomain -root/htdocs/files  domain - root/domain.co.cc/htdocs/files. So it's another level down which creates another problem.

Anyways, my question is - how do i get my files from the subdomain to the domain. They're on the same server and in the same root but is it the same as moving to a completely different host? Do i have to change databases and use the repair_settings.php tool? And i would need my domain address to point to htdocs and not domain.co.cc on the server.

    Your thoughts please!

Good thing i wasn't hanging off the edge of a cliff by my fingertips  :shckd :p

I went ahead and treated it like a normal server move and except for a few minor issues, it seems ok.
