Rules for this forum are very simple. We will not have alot of "General Rules" as there are individual "readme`s" in every forum explaining what each are for. The rules for the forum are as follows:
1.) No Spamming -- If you have to do this there is a place for it. Its called "Spam & Testing" Don`t do this on the support boards please.
2.) No Flaming -- It`s just not allowed here. Just like your mother used to say, "If you can`t say anything nice then don`t say anything at all".
3.) No porn or illegal software -- We really don`t need any porn here, if you want to see that I`m sure you know were to go, same goes for the illegal software. (Of ANY kind, in any way shape or form)
4.) No SMF software -- This means that without the original authors permission of the modification or software, or any "package" containing code in it that is directly related to SMF will not be found here unless we have permission from the author to display it for download.
NOTE: this does not include code snippets to enhance SMF, this is allowed.
5.) There is to be NO mouthing off of staff IN ANY WAY. We all try our best here and this is all volunteer work so PLEASE respect the help you get. If you do have a problem please bring it to the attention of a staff member other than who you are having problems with and we will try to sort this out.
6.) There shall be no advertising of hosting companies or sites on this site while SMF Helper is offering paid hosting; unless already cleared by the administration of this site.
NOTE: These rules are enforced. Depending on the severity of the infraction it could end in a warning or a ban. If banned it will be up to the administration whether or not you are allowed back. The administration reserves the right to change these rules at any time in any way. ( An announcement will be made)
