Topic: Changing on line status for site

I don't want my members to be able to hide the fact that they're on line so I think I made this change by going to the General tab under Features and Options and taking out the check next to "Allow non administrators to hide their on line status?"
 
Is that right?
I have a member account for my site so I then tried to see if I could hide my on line status and the box was gone, however I was checking some of the profiles for different members in my group and the box to hide your on line status is still there.
How come?
And if the box is still there and should be there, should there be a check in the box that says "Show others your online status?"

Yes uncheck that box and no one should be able to hide their online status.
 
Are you using the regular member account to look in the profiles of the others?

You can't see that option as a regular member so I was looking at it as an administrator.
I take it administrators will see that box?

Yes, Admins see everything. Admins have all permissions.
