Reg. problem
« on: February 01, 2009, 02:08:55 PM »
I just set up a new forum and when I try to create a new user the area for the code to enter is not showing up. It works with the read aloud but that's it.

Have you checked all permissions on files and folders and made sure the upload of all files went fine. Are there any errors in the error logs. ???

I see no errors in the board error log. I have checked permissions but since this is my first setup may be looking at the wrong thing. Thanks for the reply.

You should check with your host about file and folder permissions and what to set them at.

Traveler, have either you or your host switched off the GD library.
I think (not sure) the GD is needed to create those registeration letters.

Thanks for the reply. I will check with them and see.  My host is Hostmonster and so far they seem to cover most everything I need. Which is not a lot YET.

Thanks.

Seems this is not unknown and a tad mysterious.

However the edit mentioned seemed to work for some people.
