[SMF 1.1.3]: Trying to install SMFChess, but nothing happens
« on: August 15, 2007, 01:26:16 PM »
Hum, so I'm trying to install SMFChess on SMF 1.1.3...

But how to do this? I uploaded http://www.leaderless.net/tp-downloads/chess.zip and then wanted to install it on the package manager but nothin happens when I click on it. It loads for a few seconds and then jumps back to the same page - the same for "view files".

(as you can see, it's listed)

Help? Sorry for my ignorance but this is the first time I'm trying to install a mod by myself...

Apologies for this issue.

Just to confirm thou, when you do click on "Modifikation anwenden"

You should go to the next step, that lists all the files in the packages, as well as modifications to existing files with "Test Successful".

Or are you positive, the page is the same?

Uhhhhmmmmmmm....

First, I click on "Modifikation anwenden" and that takes me to the very same page I was before. Then I click on "Dateien auflisten" and again, it loads a few seconds and shows me the same page again. It always looks the same and nothing happens.

Do I need to unzip the file first? I uploaded the zip-file I got with the above link...

Is there a temp folder inside the packages directory and is it chmodded to 777 ??? If not put one in and chmodd it and then try to install.
